What age group is the programme for?
It’s for ages 5 through to 12. We cater activities to suit all age groups.
What hours does the programme run?
We’re open 7am to 6pm.
If we do excursions these are usually within 10am-3pm (we can’t cater for drop-offs and pick ups during this time). Outside of that, we are usually based at 77 Tay Street.
Can I choose the hours my child is booked in/can I pick my child up early?
Usually - yes, however if we have an excursion this will usually be from 10am to 3pm so we can’t cater for drop-offs and pick-ups during this time if we’re out and about. Outside of those times you can drop off or pick up your child at any time, using the sign in/out processes.
Is food provided?
Yes! We provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
What does MSD accreditation mean?
It means parents can be confident our policies and systems are up to a standard that meets accreditation criteria. We are regularly audited on this, by the Ministry of Social Development so you can be sure we’re complying with all standards required.

Once you’ve signed up you can make or change bookings across the Y’s before and after school care services or holiday programmes.

When and how do I pay?
We’ll send you an invoice which will detail payment amounts and dates.
How do you transport the kids to excursions?
We have vans for this, all fitted with seatbelts. All of our drivers have full NZ driver licences.
