By youth, for youth, Raise Up is an awesome (and free) programme for young people aged between 12 and 18 years that enables participants to:
- Make new friends
- Create and organise events for other young people in the south
- Support your community
- Gain confidence
- Gain leadership skills and development
Raise Up is a weekly programme that involves a mix of workshops, activities, events and personal leadership development options. The Raise Up crew runs events, activities and workshops for other young people and get involved with community outreach programmes with opportunities to volunteer.
We work alongside other organisations to create opportunities and direction for young people who want to make a difference for youth in their community.
The young people involved in the programme shape the programme and make the decisions, supported by our awesome co-ordinator.
Plus, there’s free food at every meeting!
